11.26.2015 || Thanksgiving with Jenny

This Thanksgiving was spent with a person so dear to me. Four months ago, I moved into a new apartment, in a new city, all by myself. Within hours of moving in, my neighbor two doors down came to introduce herself… and also brought me fresh baked blackberry cobbler. I knew from the instant we met that she was someone so special. Since then, we have spent countless nights laughing, cooking, talking, worshipping and growing this friendship.
This week she left for a conference in South Africa and, cheesy as it sounds, this is the first time we will have been apart since meeting. My nights don’t feel the same without her to say hi to and talk to about my day, but luckily her trip won’t last forever! I cherish my home and the comfort of her friendship.
